If you're wondering

I personally hate politics; but alas, I am a poli sci major, so its important to know at least a little bit about the future combatants for the presidency. This site seems to just hand out facts. Its pretty useful if you feel like arguing with your friends.

EFF you allergies

I can't decide whether or not I really, truly enjoy the fall season. Sure it gets cooler, sure its more enjoyable outside, and sure the football season starts; but apparently every single plant in the northern hemisphere feels like spitting out enough pollen to infect every person I know with some sort of coughing, sneezing, itchy, congested, achy hell that just won't go away no matter how many horse pills get ingested. Personally, my stuffy nose and chest congestion is driving me nuts.
Yes, I understand there was a tornado 30 minutes away from my location. And yes, I understand that allergies are gonna be bad this year. But why me? What I wouldn't give to breathe normally for a while.
In times like these I sympathize with the deforestation of the rain forest. With any luck, the damn bees will catch some damn pollen so I can stop breathing it and finally feel like I don't have to O.D. on Benadryl.
Mother nature, sometimes you suck.

My favorite way to waste time- If you need another one

If I were a blog...

What would I write? I spent some time looking up different blogs, and I decided that I don't really have any hobbies. I mean, I'm not a scrapbook-er- and to be honest the idea of collecting meaningless little pieces of paper makes me kinda nauseous. I'm not an avid fisherman or gamesmen; basically this means that whereas I enjoy being outdoors, I'm also not the kind of guy to fantasize about the day that I get the chance to leave my woman for a day at the lake. I'm also not pretentious enough to think that I know enough to give out random advice- I mean, I'm not doctor Phil, or his bloggable counterpart; and there's no way I can demonstrate proper knitting or crocheting. I also don't have any commercials with super celebrities like Jared Fogle or Tiger Woods to direct people's attention toward my blog. What am I to do?

Luckily, the wide world of blogging leaves a guy with quite a few lucrative choices. I actually read a blog about a guy that spends his time making youtube videos about pens that he found on the street (although I'm more likely to believe kidnapping) and his voyage to return them. If an idea that ludicrous can be that popular, then I'm pretty confident that I can write a pretty kick- ass blog. Hola, world wide internet.
